Last week on K.Sal request... we went to J28 to do some shopping... not us la of course... but end up with nothing after 2 hours of windowing.... so balik and in the end... shopping at ASDA hahahaha.
K.Sal visited UK for about a fortnight including 3 days conferencing in Bologna, Italy. She came with Prof. Razak whom upon arriving at out front door, then only I realised alamak... kenal la plak Prof .. malu sendiri since Prof still remember me back in 2002. He even remembered I was pregnant with Leia when we first met in a series of meeting at DBP concerning pengistilahan terma2 pengkomputeran ahaksssss.

Syawal Menjelma Lagi...

Thursday the 11th October around 10pm I was in shock to know that tomorrow is Syawal the first. Rather than dashing to the kitchen to start cooking for raya, I lie myself next to my daughters.. numb! Abg is still at work so the mood is not there. About half an hour later, Abg got back from work.. lari awal... and start teasing me since he knew I really would like raya to be on Saturday instead. He then have a shower and went for takbir raya. So still in boredom I just feel asleep. At half past 12 midnight... I woke up and went to the kitchen and start cooking  . I start oicking up the phone and dialing my mum... wuarghhhhh raya tomorrow... tak masak apa pun lagi.... half an hour later dialing my mum in law... wuarghhh again.
2 hours later... still in my no mood feeling... just stop doing anything and lie down again... and only doozed off at 4am... Abg got back around half past 3 in the morning I think.... Half past six I woke up again... and suddenly got the strength to cook... like robot I managed to finish my rendang ayam, kuah kacang and nasi impit at about 9am. Yahoooooo.... get my daughters into their so called baju raya though they're not.
Anyway.... to make it short... though the mood is still half way, my hubby managed to drag me beraya for 3 days... penat tak leh nak cakap la kan.... penat makan, penat borak, penat dukung anak... penat kuar masuk toilet  !!!!
Oright.... life goes on... back to work... and next week I think I am gonna half dead.... COOKING!!!!!

Hmmmh... just trying to figure out what to add in this entry. I am not an open person such that I can freely write what's on my mind to share with others. Am quite a shy person when it comes to expressing my feelings. Anyway.. few minutes back I read my little bro entry in his blog. It was a short one but still I feels my heart smile with it. So I am trying to do the same thing here.
So far our Ramadhans here are OK. Let's make this entry as short but as brilliant as my brother's.
Things that get me frustated today:
1. Try to do my work but as usual Sannah and Damia got in the way. At least I've found what I am looking for.
2. Looking at the washing heap and of course the clean mountainaring of clothes.
3. Dealing with Damia vomit again. It seems that she quite often doing so these days.
Things I owned today:
1. 2 pieces of tudung (bought by Sanisah, a friend of our guest, Ina... I still need to pay for them).
2. Another piece of tudung... this time it is a beautiful greenish + yellowish in colour which comes with a card on it saying
Selamat Hari Raya Isteriku, Maaf Zahir Batin, Abang.. 
This comes as a surprise... got down from my evening nap (hahahah... tido anak ngan mak mak sekali babai) and saw this paper bag on my laptop.. open it.. tada.....
Things I want to do before Syawal:
1. Get at least some of my work done so that I can have an ease of mind (though a tiny winy bit of it) when celebrating Syawal
2. Buy a curtain pole and a curtain for the front room window so that I get the chance to get rid of my hubby hideous accessories.
3. Get Sannah her new shoes with a ribbon on it.

Syukur...

Alhamdulillah... it has been 10 days we've been fasting. In these days, we have been blessed with limpahan rezeki kurniaanNya to our family. First, some of our friends requested my hubby to create Kad Hari Raya for them. Almaklumla hidup diperantauan ni... kad rayanyer tak best langsung... Out of nowhere suddenly the creativity side of him emerged. I was in my office when he YM and asked me for photo sharing. "OK tak Ibu?". To my surprise they are brilliant. Tak caya... tengok ni.... these are just 2 out of 13 designs he proposed.
Bukan apa... usually bab2 kreatif ni... selalunya I am the "jentera" though I'm not really sure whether I am a creative person myself nor did I have any formal knowledge of it. Maybe because I am more keen on designing rather than computering arggghhhhh!!!! So... right after canang-mencanang, we've received quite good respond from the NMCian... banyak jugakla order yang diterima... so my hubby pun kembang kuncup la... seronok!!!!
Yesterday the NMC 2007/2008 organised Majlis Berbuka Puasa. Apart from taking the opportunity to bertarawikh together, the event was also to get to know all the new comers. This year, the NMC AJK Penempatan sakit kepala... since there are about 30 of them (including families and bujang). We have been asked to prepare nasi putih and 2 kinds of drinks... .since Damia is not feeling well (she's been having high fever and bad cough starting Monday), I got to be the "boss" (ye la Damia asyik nak berpeluk jeeeeee so takleh aaaa nak buat keje ). Lucky my hubby ok je yesterday... he did almost everything... get the nasi cooked and prepared all the drinks... for 150 people maaaa!!!! Though seem simple but sabo je la tengok dapur....Anyway alhamdullillah everything settled and we got back around half past ten and everyone safe and sound ngorokssss.....
This morning... my hubby had an OT... from 6am until finished. He got back home around 11am.. and straight away doozed off at the sofa... an hour later his phone ringing...guess what??.. he hung up and said "Ibu... boleh masak for 50....lauk kari??????" I am like....  "Bila nak?" Then my hubby said.. today at 7pm...and then I became   .... Anyway bila pikir... we do need the money, I said... why not! So... there you go .. my Saturday... at the kitchen until half past 6 in the evening.... at last semua siap 50 packs of nasi minyak... each with chicken curry and salad with cream and complimentary dates. Alhamdullilah!!!!
Now it 20 past 11 at night... both my daugthers fast asleep ... daddy dorang dooozed off right after buka tadi... he's been complaining of head ache since morning... and already asked me for Beecham Flu Plus... hopefully tak berlarutan sakit dia.. kalau tak naya la..... so... I have the night for myself... ada la masa sikit nak update my fotopage.
Ok then... nak buat mende lain plak sementara mata boleh buka lagi ni... one thing before I pen off tonight... let us give Al-Fatihah to Adik Nurin Jazlin... sesungguhnya DIA lebih menyayanginya dan semoga diberikan kekuatan buat kedua orang tuanya menghadapi dugaan yang maha berat ini. Sesungguhnya when you become a parent yourself then only you know how the feelings would be.....
